The Bhanwar Niwas Palace at Bikaner is a magnificent haveli belonging to the Rampuria family. Its architecture showcases some skillful and meticulous craftsmanship and its interiors are a fascinating blend of Indian and the European styles.

Karni Bhawan Palace
The Karni Bhawan Palace has been built in a luxurious art deco style, it’s doric pillars, ornamental staircases and large windows are a testimony to the aesthetic brilliance of the past. Though it has been turned from a royal residence into a hotel, it’s original character has been preserved and retained for modern-day guests. Old paintings, photographs, period furniture and curios make it a cozy haven for travellers.

Visually the Gajner Palace is absolutely stunning, spread over 6000 acres of land and built on the embankment of a lake. Its red sandstone architecture contrasts brilliantly with blue skies and lush greenery. This heritage property has been painstakingly maintained to retain the opulence of royal Rajasthan. Once used as a hunting resort by the Maharajas, it even has a wildlife sanctuary of its very own, which houses endangered antelopes (like the chinkara, black buck and neelgai) among other animals. The Mrigtrishna Bar offers Indian and foreign liquor. Recreational facilities include billiards, jeep, horse and camel safaris, lawn tennis, cycling, boating, bird and wildlife viewing and turban tying. A unique feature here is that solar powered boats are used on the Gajner Lake to minimise pollution and maintain the beauty of the lake and the surrounding areas.
